Safearth Wins National Safety Award

October was National Safety Week, and Safearth was very pleased to attend the NSCA Foundation National Safety Awards as a finalist.

Safearth received the Highly Commended award for our Earthing Awareness Training Video, which represents a major achievement in communicating the difficult topic of earthing hazards to non-electrical workers. The 25-minute video was initially adopted by UGL Limited, who shared the award. UGL have rolled out the video across the country for staff and contractor inductions, and have already seen measurable improvements in awareness and risk reduction.

The video is also being made available to other companies, and provides an extremely effective and affordable solution for training workers who work in and around high voltage assets.
